DENNIS Wastewater funding, a ban on plastic water bottles and a proposed firearms ban are among the issues voters will be asked to weigh in on at Saturday s annual town meeting.
The spring session is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Nathaniel H. Wixon School. A total of 37 articles make up the spring warrant.
$660K to fund wastewater treatment efforts
Two articles will go before voters seeking support for the first phase of the town s wastewater treatment plan. Article 31, if approved, would transfer $300,000 from the Solar Special Revenue Fund to the Wastewater Stabilization Fund.
Through Article 32, the town seeks to use $660,000 in stabilization funds to pay for a preliminary design and survey for the project s first phase. ....
