Three individuals involved in a burglary investigation were injured in a Warren County crash after attempting to elude police. At around 7:14 Tuesday morning, a witness reported that individuals were involved in a suspected burglary in Alexis, according to Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards. The suspect vehicle was followed by a witness until sheriff's deputies arrived on the scene. The suspected vehicle and operator fled east of Alexis on 300th Avenue with deputies in pursuit. In the area of 150th Street, the operator lost control and struck a power pole. Two occupants fled the vehicle on foot but were captured in a nearby field. Those individuals were 28-year-old Tanner Smith and 25-year-old Devin Logan of Alexis, and 27-year-old Nathan Eck. Smith and Logan were taken to an OSF hospital with injuries while Eck was flown to a Peoria hospital by Med Force. Sheriff Edwards says the extent of the injuries is not known.
