The copywriter at Wunderman Thompson Singapore shares her creative journey from almost becoming a lawyer to working on campaigns around poop donation, writes LBB’s Natasha Patel
Being ‘artsy’ in school, designing T-shirts, painting banners and doodling on her exam papers were the perfect set up for Wunderman Thompson Singapore’s Natalie Goh to pursue a career in advertising. The copywriter originally planned to pursue a career in journalism but found it wouldn’t allow her “much creative freedom”, although her family had a different plan in mind.
“As a teen, the ‘Singaporean dream’ was all I knew: to get good grades, good school, good job. So the goal was always to become a lawyer! For no real reason except for the fact that everyone was headed there too. AMILI’s first ever awareness campaign with Wunderman Thompson and National University Health System encourage people to donate their poop
It is common knowledge that blood and organ donations can save lives. But did you know that your poop can save lives too? That’s precisely what Southeast Asia’s first precision gut microbiome company Asian Microbiome Library (AMILI) wants Singaporeans to know. 
#PoopSavesLives is AMILI’s first ever awareness campaign, done in partnership with Wunderman Thompson Singapore and the National University Health System (NUHS). AMILI is partnering NUHS to advance microbiome science for human health in a number of research collaborations including for cancer, heart and liver diseases.
