The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday said that it has attached 39.83 per cent share of 4.79 acre land forming parts of the township Uniworld City, Nallambakkam in Chennai in a case involving the Unitech Group.
The land was attached as part of the Enforcement Directorate’s probe into money laundering charges based on Delhi Police and CBI cases registered on home buyers’ complaints against Unitech Group, its promoters and others.
The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has attached a 39.83% share of 4.79 acres of land in Chennai worth Rs 125.06 crore in the case of Unitech Group. The total attachment in the case now stands at Rs 1,257.61 crore. The land is owned by Unitech Infopark Limited, with 39.83% shares held by M/s Narnil Infosolutions Private Limited, a benami company of the promoters of Unitech Group. =
