Naran Automotive unveils aero package for 1048bhp two-plus-two coupe

Naran Automotive’s questionably-named ‘The Naran’ is set to make its first appearance in the flesh later this year, but before it does so, the brand has now revealed a second aerodynamics package toning down the model’s racing car-like aero. The model exclusive super high-performance two-plus-two coupe will come with a super high price tag, and only 49 examples are set to be produced.
Unusual among most new models from new-age supercar startups that we see today, the (we’re dropping the ‘The’ from now on) Naran is powered by a front-mid mounted twin-turbocharged V8 engine built by engineering firm Racing Dynamics that produces 1048bhp, with 764lb ft of torque. These very ambitious figures are claimed to send the Naran to 60mph in just 2.3sec, 100mph in 4.5sec and on to a top speed of over 230mph, while still producing 1377kg of downforce – higher than a GT3 racer. ....

Naran Automotive unveils aero pack for 1,034bhp hypercar

Naran Automotive has revealed one of the options buyers will be able to spec on it’s upcoming 1,034bhp front-engined hypercar. It’s called the Celare Pack (from the Latin for “to conceal or hide”) – and it’s a detachable aero setup, which allows the car to generate more downforce than a GT3 racer.
Naran Automotive says its new aero package can be installed or removed “within 20 minutes” by its engineers, allowing the hypercar to be quickly set up for either track or road use. The firm will also supply the kit with a carbon fibre cradle, which holds the rear wing and canards when they’re not in use. ....

The Naran is the latest of a series of sports cars created by start up companies looking to build a name for themselves in the car industry. It’s built around the BMW M8 super GT with an entirely new design. The company calls it a hyper-coupe and is meant to give thrilling experience of a GT3 car in 2+2 configuration.
