FUKUOKA The 2021 fiscal year began April 1 in Japan. With no end to the pandemic in sight, companies, governments, and schools held entrance and appointment ceremonies with measures to avoid coronavirus infections.
The Fukuoka Prefectural Government, in southwest Japan, held its appointment ceremonies for 228 newly employed staff at 10 locations. The 34 people assigned to the department of health, medical and nursing care, which deals with coronavirus measures, received a letter of appointment from Mitsuhiro Maehara, manager of the department s section in charge of general affairs, at the prefectural government auditorium in Fukuoka s Hakata ....
