Candidate forums scheduled ahead of Milford election

MILFORD The nonpartisan resident group Citizens for Milford will hold candidate forums next month for four of the five contested races in the April 6 local election.
There are 15 elected jobs up for grabs in local government. School Committee, moderator, Parks Commission, Board of Assessors and library trustees all collected enough candidates for races.
The three people running for two available library trustee terms declined a candidate forum, but Citizens for Milford will devote an evening to each of the remaining four races.
“Providing information to voters during our Town Election season is an ongoing commitment for Citizens for Milford,” organization Chairperson Geri Eddins said in a press release. “With the Town Election slated for April 6, we are pleased to continue our tradition of hosting Candidate Forum events.
