Youth leader and coach Eldridge Paige, Jr. knows the importance of getting children and adolescents involved in healthy lifestyles and community participation. His thorough understanding of the benefits of fitness and his desire to see future generations excel has fueled a flurry of programs since his return to Jones County five years ago.
Eldridge was born in Pollocksville and graduated Jones Senior High School in 1982, where he was an All-Conference three-sport star in football, basketball and baseball. He went on to earn his degree in communications from Shaw University in Raleigh and became a certified professional life coach. ....
