May 5, 2021 0 1 minute read Four suspected armed robbers have been killed in a shootout with the police at Ntoaso, a suburb of Nsawam, in the Eastern Region The armed robbers, also suspected to be land guards, are yet to be identified, but the bodies have been taken to the Police Hospital mortuary for preservation. However, five persons, including a military man and a sub-chief of Kyeibi-Apapam, who were allegedly together with the armed robbers during the shootout in an uncompleted building, have been grabbed to assist in investigations. They are Philip Kwadwo Larbi,42, Abass Baah, 36, Edward Kwafo, 35, Sergeant (Sgt) Isaac Asare of the Ghana Air force and Nana Baah alias Haruna, the sub-chief. ....

This, the group, said was due to how Mr. Ashitey performed his ministerial functions and dedicated his time and resources for the peace and development in the region. At a press conference organised by the group in Accra yesterday, January 20, the President for the Young Patriots, Nana Yaw Baah, gave some instances that due to his effort, the region enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere between 2017 and 2020 which led to the creation of nine municipal assembly’s to fast-track development and transformation of the entire region. ....
