Drowned fisherman washes ashore
 
THE body of one of the two men who drowned after they fell out of a fishing boat when it capsized in the sea off Swakopmund on Wednesday morning was found washed up on a beach north of the Platz am Meer shopping centre.
 
The head of the Namibian Police’s Public Relations Division, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, confirmed that the body of one of the drowned crew members was retrieved.
 
“We are still looking for the deceased person’s family to make a positive identification,” she said.
 
The tragedy occurred when the boat was approaching the launch ramp in the small craft area in front of the shopping centre. ....
