Vietnam News Agency accompanies with Hai Duong in COVID-19 combat The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) has collaborated with the National Volunteer Centre and Fly to Sky charity group as well as donors to present 30,000 facemasks and 1,000 bottles of antiseptic solution with total value of 345 million VND (14,994 USD) to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hai Duong province – the current largest COVID-19 hotbed. The gifts were delivered to checkpoints, quarantine sites and pandemic prevention and control forces in Binh Giang, Nam Sach, Kim Thanh districts, Kinh Mon town and Hai Duong city. ....

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang said at a meeting on Monday that extending the social distancing period would be unnecessary. The province will enter a new state and concentrate on the double goal of fighting COVID-19 and promoting socio-economic development, Thang continued. Vietnam records 16 new Covid-19 cases By Le Nga February 28, 2021 | 07:31 pm GMT+7 Vietnam confirmed 16 new Covid-19 cases Sunday evening, 12 community transmissions in Hai Duong Province and four imported cases. The new patients in the northern province have been detected in Kim Thanh, Nam Sach, Kinh Mon and Cam Giang districts; as well as in Chi Linh and Hai Duong towns. They d come into close contact with previously confirmed Covid-19 patients and had already been quarantined or were in locked down areas. They are being treated at local field hospitals. Three of the four imported cases were confirmed in the southern province of Tay Ninh. They had entered the country via the Moc Bai international border gate on February 14 and are now being treated at the Tay Ninh General Hospital. ....

08:38 GMT+7 Hanoi reports case of COVID-19 relapse A patient has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 again after being given the all-clear, the Hanoi Centre of Disease Control (CDC Hanoi) said on February 25. The 48-year-old patient, who resides in Dich Vong ward in Cau Giay district, has been taken to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases for further quarantine and treatment. The case does not pose any risk of community transmission, Deputy Director of CDC Hanoi Khong Minh Tuan said. Hanoi had reported 36 COVID-19 cases between January 27 and 12pm on February 25, according to the municipal Department of Health. ....
