A security guard in Vadodara was attacked and assaulted by four unidentified men in a commercial complex. The incident occurred when the guard asked the men to stop smoking in public. The men got enraged and assaulted the guard. The police are investigating the incident and searching for the accused.
On a petition filed by Naik Arvinder Singh, the Punjab and Haryana high court has issued notices to the Chandigarh Police and others and directed that the CCTV footage of the police station be preserved
