Saul Canelo Alvarez (55-1-2) continues his quest to become the undisputed champion of the super-middleweight division when he takes on Billy Joe Saunders (30-0) Saturday night, May 8. Alvarez is considered the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world, but faces his toughest test in a long time by taking on the undefeated Saunders.
The stakes are significantly high for the two men as Alvarez will defend his WBA, WBC and Ring Magazine super-middleweight titles while Saunders puts his WBO super-middleweight belt on the line. Oddsmakers have Alvarez as the heavy favorite coming in a -650, meaning a $650 bet is required to win $100.
