May 12, 2021, 14:37 IST GUNTUR: Cases were filed against Opposition leader and TDP Chief N Chandrababu has been booked in Guntur town and Narasaraopet in Guntur district on Tuesday, for fake propaganda over the N440K COVID-19 variant spread in the State. A lawyer named Pachala Anil Kumar of Guntur lodged a complaint at the Arandalpet police station and lawyer Rapolu Srinivasa Rao lodged a complaint at the Narasaraopet Two Town police station against Chandrababu s remarks that the N440K variant of the Covid-19 virus had originated and was spreading from the state. Anil Kumar s complaint was registered under CC No. 230/2021 under Sections 188, 501 (1) b, 505 (2) of the IPC and Section 54 of the Disaster Management Act-2005.
