Daily Post Nigeria Published Scores of motorcyclists clashed with policemen at the Ile Epo bus stop in Lagos on Monday. One Okada rider was reportedly killed in the fracas causing an irate mob to set a building ablaze. The location of the arson is not clear yet but some say it is the Oke-Odo police station. Muyuwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed that additional policemen have been deployed to the area to restore normalcy. The spokesman said the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident. “The command wishes to debunk the rumour that Ile Epo Police Station was set ablaze by the hoodlums. This news is false and should be disregarded”, he added. ....

The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, said security agencies reported that bandits invaded Mazari, a community close to Buruku in Chikun LGA.
