The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs concluded its Ramadan programme ‘Amenhum men Khawf’ (secure them from fear) which was organised on its electronic platforms and social media accounts from May 2 to 4.
The event was participated by a group of scholars, under the title ‘Cultural Security and Questions of Review and Renewal’, within the framework of the activities of Doha Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021.
The third and final session of the programme dealt with two themes: ‘the different other in the Muslim community’ and ‘correcting the image of Islam and Muslims’. ....

MAKKAH The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the pioneering international project promoting a culture of peace and tolerance.
The global project was proposed by a number of Arab and Islamic and other key counties in which Saudi Arabia was at the forefront.
The Arab, Islamic countries draft resolution was supported and approved at the United Nations General Assembly which unanimously adopted it to promote a culture of peace and tolerance to protect religious sites. ....
