The way that i was fired was very, very similar to the way the full time employees were fired. i was not fired by a manager having a meeting with me, i was not fired through an e mail, i found out that i was fired because i got locked out of twitter s systems. i saw a pop up on my phone at 5:30pm, i was at the mall my daughter, this was on the saturday, november the 11th. a pop up came up on my phone and it said one or more of your permissions tokens has been removed and i opened up the twitter gmail app, the twitter mail app, and i was locked out. opened up the slack, i was locked out. and based upon the experience of full time employees a week before, i knew that i had been fired. and then a further twist, because elon musk sends an e mail ....

To bring down rockets, landing them back down on earth, and there were naysayers in the early days of those companies. yes. so he could very well use the same formula and turn it around, no? he is someone that you would want to write off at your own peril, because he has this track record of doing things that people situations that most of us would not have the tolerance for, he can get right to the edge. whether or not he can do this with twitter is really different of course, so it is interesting what his vision will be. like the company wiichat in china, which is known as the everything app, and if he were to again pull that off, we might in six months time be thinking of him as a visionary, but right now, everyone is moaning. we had seen some rehiring at twitter, it made me wonder ....
Spiked their hire rate and now their hire rate is coming back down, their workforces are being reduced in size, but really, underlying all of this is still a very healthy labour market globally. and your technology workers have always been seen as prized people, but certainly not how they are being treated at twitter some will say now, and i m wondering, is the change in management style, do you think that isjust change in management style, do you think that is just confined to twitter or could we see a harder edge it now to working conditions? i think it what is playing out in the headlines is pretty unique. most companies are very, very intentional in retaining their talent, in making them feel truly wanted in the organisation and very rarely do you read of organisations that so rapidly build down on their workers or lay off their workforce, it would damage the brand, but having said that, twitter is a company in this case that has never made any money ....
