County commissioners award Fisher grants to 6 organizations
Submitted article
WIIMINGTON The Clinton County Board of Commissioners has named six organizations as recipients for 2021 Fischer Trust Fund grants totaling $24,000:
• Clinton County Homeless Shelter $2,500
• Clinton County Youth Council $2,500
• Friends of Juvenile Court Bacon & Bits 4-H Club $2,000
• Harvest of Gold $3,000
• Kids & Company $3,000
• Children Services $11,000
There were more applicants in 2021 than previous years. Selecting grant recipients from an outstanding and varied group of applicants is always a challenging task, and the fund simply does not have enough money to favor all of the fine proposals submitted for consideration.
