Alex Murdaugh's lawyers are asking a judge to vacate a $4.3 million judgment related to the theft of an insurance payout following the death of his housekeeper.
The property, Moselle, in South Carolina, was the scene of the gristly double murder of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh by disgraced legal scion Alex in June 2021 .
