Thane district.
According to civic body officials, the duo was travelling towards Veer Munda Chowk around 5.30 am when their car rammed into a tree near a footpath in the
Upvan area.
The chief of the Regional disaster management cell (RDMC) of the
Thane Municipal Corporation Santosh Kadam said that Shivani Bhanushali, who was driving the vehicle, survived the crash but sustained serious injuries. She is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city.
