A hitandrun driver killed a man in his 60s this morning in north philadelphia. Police the speeding rental honda crv hit the victim who was crossing the street around midnight. The impact threw the mans body into an oncoming vehicle. That driver of that car did stop to help. The honda was later found abandoned on bambry street. Two men and a woman are in the hospital after they were stabbed with a machete in West Philadelphia. It happened overnight in a house on the 900 block of north st. Bernard street. A 19yearold Allbright College student is dead and two students injured after their house caught on fire. We checked with hospital officials who tell us four kids have been treated and all released. The cdc says over the past month 130 people have been infected with the virus in 12 states.
