IMPACT Initiatives is a humanitarian NGO, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The organisation manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative. The IMPACT team comprises specialists in data collection, management and analysis and GIS. Executive Summary
Rationale and foundation of the MSNA Sudan is currently experiencing a combination of political uncertainty, economic fragility, poor service provision, continued civil conflict and vulnerability to flooding and other natural disasters. According to the 2021 Sudan Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO), 13.4 million people (29% of the population) are in need of humanitarian assistance, an increase of 4.1 million people over 2020.3 Sudan’s Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) “Acute Food Insecurity Projection Update” (October-December 2020) indicated that almost 7.1 million people, or 16% of the population, were experiencing high levels of acute food insecurity (IPC Phase 3 or above). Prior to that, Sudan’s pre-harvest-season June-December 2020 IPC snapshot reported that 9.6 million people, or 21% of the population, were experiencing high levels of acute food ....

Executive Summary
From 20 July to 11 December 2020, DRC Staff conducted a Multi-Sector Needs Assessment in Central Darfur. In total, 1530 households were surveyed from all 9 localities in the state. Data was collected through in-person interviews. Covid-19 social distancing and mask-wearing measures were upheld to mitigate the potential spread of the virus. Below are some of the key findings of the report, organized by sector.
Demographics
43% of respondents are host community members, while 30% are IDPs and 27% are returnees. 47% of all households surveyed are female-headed households and 14% are elderly-headed households. The average house has 9 individuals. 50% of households have a member living with a disability. ....
