Govt Recovers Land Worth Billions From 36 PML-N Politicians
Prime Minister’s Adviser on Accountability, Shahzad Akbar, has revealed that the state has recovered 8,085 acres of land worth Rs. 24 billion from 36 PML-N politicians.
While addressing a press conference, Shahzad Akbar said that the incumbent government has made these recoveries in Punjab since coming to power in 2018.

According to details, land worth over Rs. 7 billion was retrieved from Chaudhry Tanveer, Rs. 2.5 billion from Danyal Aziz, Rs. 2 billion from Abid Sher Ali, Rs. 1.5 billion from Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, and Rs. 90 million from Khurram Dastgir.
Besides, land worth billions of rupees have been recovered from PMLN leaders Khawaja Asif, Mudasar Qayum Nahra, Javed Latif, and Mir Badshah Qaisrani.

Prime Minister s Adviser on Accountability Shahzad Akbar says the government has recovered 210 billion rupees and retrieved 8,085 acres of illegally occupied state land from 36 politicians belonging to the opposition parties.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Sunday, he said these recoveries have been made in just two and half years in Punjab only and the retrieved land is now being utilized for public welfare.
Giving detail of the retrieved properties, Shahzad Akbar said 1,150 kanals of land worth over 4.57 million rupees was recovered from PML-N leader Muhammad Afzal Khokhar and brothers. He said millions of rupees in terms of penal rent have also been recovered from the land grabbers. ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Mirza Shahzad Akbar on Sunday unveiled that the government had recovered Rs210 billion from land grabbers, adding that 36 of these people belong to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Illegally occupied state land worth billions of rupees had been retrieved from PML-N’s stalwarts, including Khurram Dastagir, Senator Chaudhary Tanveer, Javed Hashmi, Khawaja Asif, Abid Sher Ali, Malik Saiful Malook Khokhar, Daniyal Aziz and Javed Latif, he said.
Addressing a press conference here at the Press Information Department (PID), he said that these people had been using political influences to occupy the government property, which caused huge losses to the national exchequer.

He claimed that of the amount, Rs24 billion worth of recoveries were made from 36 PML-N members, from whom 8,085 acres of land was taken back. This is the reality behind the hue and cry being raised by the PML-N, he said, as he addressed a press conference in Islamabad.
Shahzad Akbar said the party was accusing the government of exacting political revenge simply to save their own skins. He spoke of the land razed by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) where the Khokhar brothers had established Khokhar Palace. They had grabbed land belonging to the government worth Rs1.5 billion, he said.
