Melksham: Sue Spurrier of 48 Longford Road has been granted planning permission to build a single-storey side extension at her property. Chirton: A planning bid for a new agricultural access at Manor Farm has been refused. Future Farm UK Pty Ltd, who made the bid, was turned down by the council s planning officers because the creation of the new access would “act to visually extend the influence of the built development”. The officer added that proposed wide entrance and hard-surfacing would have a negative impact on the setting within the North Wessex Downs Area of Natural Beauty.
