Our Bureau 2526 EAGLE 4x4 vehicle The Danish Ministry of Defense awarded a CHF 46 million ($52.1 million) contract to General Dynamics European Land Systems-Mowag (GDELS-Mowag) to deliver 56 PATROL vehicles and a first prototype of the RECONNAISSANCE Open variant. This second order is part of the Armored Patrol Vehicle (APV) framework agreement, which GDELS-Mowag and DALO signed in June 2017, after the EAGLE 4x4 was selected winner of the APV tender. Deliveries of the 57 vehicles will begin by the End of 2021 and will be completed in 2022. As noted by the company, the EAGLE family of vehicles is NATO interoperable and in service with various armed forces. It offers a high payload and a large protected interior in addition to a flexible load space at the rear of the vehicle. Depending on the mission role, 4×4 or 6×6 versions are available. ....

(GDELS-Mowag) Denmark has placed a follow-on order for 56 Eagle 5 protected patrol vehicles in the 4×4 configuration as well as a prototype of an open reconnaissance variant with General Dynamics European Land Systems – Mowag (GDELS-Mowag), according to a 17 December GDELS-Mowag press release. The order, which is valued at CHF46 million (USD51.9 million), is the second part of the framework agreement signed between the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation and GDELS-Mowag in June 2017. All 57 vehicles procured under the second order will be delivered from the end of 2021 and throughout 2022, the press release states. ....
