A father-of-six has been killed in a freak motorbike accident just two days before his 29th birthday and a week before Christmas. Luis Godinho collided head-on with another motorcycle on Mount Peter Road, Edmonton, in Cairns, on Friday around 10pm. The young father along with his 17-year-old passenger were killed while the other rider, a 21-year-old man, was rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition. Tributes have since flowed in for Mr Godinho as his family spend the next few days tragically planning a funeral instead of how they would have spent Christmas together.
