Hier wohnt nur ein einziger Mönch: Vater Mikael arbeitete als Mathematiker, bis er sich in die wilde Schönheit des Ortes verliebte. In einem der schönsten Dörfer Frankreichs befindet sich die Basilika von Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Sie ist ein Musterbeispiel der romanischen Architektur und ist Teil des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes. Die Karmeliterinnen kommen aus der ganzen Welt und führen ein beschauliches Dasein; einige arbeiten als Physiotherapeutinnen, andere als Gefängnisgeistliche. There are now about 180 Broadband Connection Points (BCPs) operating in towns and villages in every county, says the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys, with many others being connected in the coming months.
These publicly-accessible sites provide free Wi-Fi internet connectivity in rural locations, including on many of the offshore islands, said the Minister, replying to a recent Dáil question from Cork South-West Social Democrats TD Holly Cairns. ....

Mark, who runs MC Strength & Conditioning in Dungarvan, is no stranger to taking on strenuous and daring charity challenges. This time, he’s decided to cover 200km around the terrain of Mount Melleray, the Knockmealdown Mountains, and Cappoquin, by cycling, hiking and running.
Mark will embark on the journey on May 14th and he’s expecting it will take over 24 hours. He explains to Andy and me why he choose Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice as his charity, as well as explaining how you can donate.
