MOUNT HOLLY - Another six weeks of winter is on its way and even with a massive amount of snow having fallen from this week s nor easter, forecasters and private meteorologists are already tracking another storm system that may potentially be heading our way early next week.
While it s still way too early to call, forecast models are tracking two more winter storm signals heading our way with the first one potentially arriving on Super Bowl Sunday into Monday and another on Thursday, according to private meteorologist Jonathan Carr, who runs Weather NJ.
Heading into the weekend, a strong cold front is expected to collide with a low pressure system that should bring us some frigid and possibly freezing weather heading into next week, according to Wednesday s long-term forecast from the National Weather Service. This same pattern is how our most recent nor easter developed.
