Bill Carroll was promoted to vice president of the new Philadelphia Division (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia), which serves the East Group’s territory. He will be responsible for overseeing 13 branches’ sales and guiding their market growth, and will report to Phil Donnelly, vice president group executive – East.

Motion Industries Breaks Ground on New Facility -

Motion Industries Inc., Birmingham, Alabama, a distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts and a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co., this week announced a groundbreaking ceremony for its planned shop facility in Irondale, Alabama. In attendance were Randy Breaux, president, and Joe Limbaugh, SVP distribution, inventory and operations Support, along with Irondale’s mayor and representatives from the Birmingham Business Alliance, Brasfield Gorrie, and Graham Co. When completed, the $11.2 million 104,000 square-foot building will house Motion’s area fluid power shop, hose and rubber shop and engineering department. “This project continues our excellent partnership between Brasfield Gorrie and Graham Co.,” said Limbaugh. “These two companies also did a fantastic job with the recent headquarters renovation. At this property, we’re making excellent progress, and while it’s early, we’re ahead of schedule.”
