IMS and NESAC organises Virtual symposium on Tropical Meteorology in Shillong
The ongoing virtual symposium is organised from December 14 to December 16, at the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Shillong.

Shillong: The Indian Meteorological Society (IMS) along with the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) is organising a virtual symposium from December 14-17. The ongoing symposium is on the Tropical Meteorology (TROPMET-2020), with the theme of Weather and Climate Services over Mountainous Regions. It is being held at NESAC, Shillong, Meghalaya.
Around 450 people registered for the symposium and 315 research paper are being presented. The symposium also arranged for 12 plenary lectures, 13 invited talks by eminent scientists, two memorial lectures, and one popular lecture.
