Kanyi died on Wednesday at an Eldoret Hospital after developing breathing problems. Responding to speculation that Kanyi died of Covid-19 related complications, Elgeyo Marakwet County Police Commander, Patrick Lumumba, said doctors will make a determination as to the cause of death. We have lost the OCPD after he exhibited breathing complications. It is upon the medics to confirm if the death was as a result of coronavirus or otherwise, said Lumumba. He added that Kanyi was in good health and had been overseeing the administration of the ongoing examination across Keiyo North. ....
