PETALING JAYA: More Umno MPs may announce their withdrawal of support for the Perikatan Nasional government led by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in the coming days, says Padang Rengas MP Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz. According to Nazri, he believes that Machang MP Datuk Seri Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub’s recent announcement to withdraw support for Perikatan might be a triggering factor for other Umno MPs to follow suit. “I believe many other MPs will do that in the coming days. Just wait and see.” “A majority of Umno divisions have passed a resolution not to work with ‘bunga’ (flower) for the general election and the Umno MPs, who are also division heads in their constituencies, can act on the basis of support from the grassroots,” he said, referring to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s flower logo. ....
