The Gambling Commission confirmed on Tuesday that Allwyn, which runs lotteries in Austria, the Czech Republic and Greece, will run the National Lottery from February 2024.
The money will be used to regulate the lottery for the next ten years, as well as paying for the recent bidding process which will see a Czech billionaire take over the contract from Camelot.
