A gambling addict drained a seriously ill pensioner s life savings then claimed he was placing bets for him.
Charles Lynch was thought to only have a few months left to live due to heart problems and a brain tumour.
But his son James Lynch s boyfriend Jason Kelly exploited his acute confusion to fund online betting sprees.

A Bootle man who scooped £1m has said he will continue to work but has a few plans for his fortune.
Geoff pocketed the massive sum after his horse was the first to pass the post in the Imperial Cup at Sandown racecourse. The 50-year-old was part of Paddy Power s Millionaire Chase beating several finalists who were each represented by a horse in the big race.
