Hucker: ‘We’ve Made it Easier Than Ever to Get a Vaccine’
Montgomery County is making it easier for residents 16 years old and up to get vaccinated now that more doses are available.
Council President Tom Hucker says although 42% of residents are fully vaccinated so far, there’s still more work to do. In an effort to accommodate locals, COVID-19 vaccine site hours have been extended.
“Having so many vaccines to use is a game-changer for all of us and public health, but only if residents take advantage. The message for our residents is don’t delay. Get your shots today,” said Hucker during his weekly virtual media briefing on Monday.
