Brush City Council discusses plethora of items at Monday meeting

The Brush City Council meeting held on Monday evening began with a discussion about the Brush Chamber Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). There was a discussion about a MOU between the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), the City of Brush, and the Local Main Street Program (which is overseen by the Brush Chamber of Commerce). Brush City Council discusses speed limits, construction projects, and more at Monday meeting

On Monday, the Brush City Council heard from Public Works Director Dale Colerick concerning speed limits around the East Morgan County Library. A safety program with the FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) provides studies with information and limit-setting standards.  This is an alternative to installing stop signs. Over several days, they used a radar system on different streets to track the number of vehicles driving through the area and their speed.
