Monroe – In accordance with current COVID guidelines from the State of Michigan and CDC, the River Raisin National Battlefield Park will resume limited visitor daily services beginning Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the new park visitor center.
The visitor center is now located at 333 N. Dixie Highway, at the site formerly known as the Monroe Multi-Sports Complex center.
“We are pleased to be able to begin greeting visitors in this new visitor center for River Raisin National Battlefield Park, said Park Superintendent Scott J. Bentley. The new facility allows for us to safely resume visitor services and interpretive programming while following current guidance from the State of Michigan and CDC.
