Monro: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) Monro Muffler Brake Inc. (MNRO) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $6.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Rochester, New York-based company said it had profit of 20 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 22 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 39 cents per share.
The automotive repair chain posted revenue of $284.6 million in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $301.9 million.

Monro shares have climbed 6.5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 20% in the last 12 months. ....
