Here s the remaining list of performances: July 26 – Bryon Stripling Band with special guest Bobby Floyd on piano will take center stage at the Monday Night Jazz Concert. July 27 – The Lancaster Festival Orchestra will perform its “Soloists Spotlight.” This concert will also feature music from Mozart, Vivaldi and Rossini along with other classical masterpieces. July 28 – The Festival will welcome Kelly Vaughn and the Remnants as openers for a headliner to be announced at a later date. July 29 – The family concert, “A Musical Zoo,” will take place at the Wendel Concert Stage with the Lancaster Festival Orchestra. Pieces will include Haydn’s “Bear” Symphony, the “Pink Panther,” the “Carnival of Animals,” the “Goldfinch” flute concerto by Vivaldi, and the “Cantina Band” from Star Wars. ....
The 32nd annual celebration will be broadcast over 10 hours, from 2 p.m. through midnight today. Activities will be live streaming on Youtube and Facebook, and workshops hosted on Zoom. For the youngsters, the First Night Hartford crew has put together a party kit of a coloring book, party masks, temporary tattoos, crayons, and activity book. The kits are $25. First Night Hartford 2021 buttons designed by Lindaluz Carrillo, a local urban artist, graphic designer, and muralist, are also available, for $10. Party kits and buttons are for sale today at all Highland Park Market locations from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and at the First Night Hartford Office, 1429 Park St., Suite 114, Hartford, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ....
