LAS CRUCES - Momentum Church, a non-denominational, mobile Christian church, opened its doors to people for the first time Sunday, after the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to find a permanent location of their own.
As a mobile church, Momentum held services in the auditorium of Doña Ana Community College East Mesa Campus. “Preview services” started in January 2020 and the official launch was held in March. Lead Pastor Carlos Alvarez said Matteo’s Mexican Food catered and roughly 300 people attended.
Their mission is to CONNECT people to love God and each other. GROW together in our God-given purpose. DEVELOP others to follow Christ and advance His Kingdom. ....
