(laughter) - the reality is that, over the course of the past half century or so, the conservative media business and its flagship, national review magazine founded by william f. buckley, had a particular view of conservatism that they advocated for. a view which actually won. they were originally founded as a magazine that criticized eisenhower, that was very critical at various points of richard nixon, but then saw their fulfillment in ronald reagan. - ronald reagan was the apex, right? - everything that they really wanted to see in a candidate ....
