After making his last three starts without a win at Saratoga Raceway, Makadushin N Cheez found his way back to western New York and picked up where he left off, winning the $15,000 Open I Handicap Trot at Batavia Downs on Friday, Oct. 27.
The trotters were on full display under the Friday night lights at Batavia Downs but the spotlight fell directly on driver Jim Morrill Jr., who choreographed the journeys of the winners of the top two events.
Three-year-old male trotters were at Yonkers Raceway on Tuesday night for a pair of New York Sire Stakes showdowns, and the victories would go to Cool Papa Bell and Velvet Style.
