‘Kindness Kitchen Cafe’ offers free food for the poor

ALOR SETAR: A non-governmental organisation (NGO), known as Kindness Malaysia, has set up a ‘Kindness Kitchen Cafe’, offering free food for the poor for the breaking of fast.
Its chairman, Mohd Azrul Mohd Razak said the poor and needy, as well as the homeless, orphans and persons with disabilities (PwD), are welcome to the cafe, which is located at Jalan Sultanah, here.
“For this Ramadan, we only operate on Saturday from 7pm to 9pm due to shortage ,” he told Bernama here.
He said the cafe, which was launched last Tuesday, was set up following a survey which found that the poor, especially those with large families, had never or rarely eat out. ....
