Toronto Man Charged After Thompson RCMP Seize Drugs on a Bus in Grand Rapids

A Toronto man is in custody as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Early yesterday morning (Wed), Thompson RCMP intercepted a bus in Grand Rapids, while it was stopped at a gas station.
A 29-year-old man was searched, and was found to be in possession of over 200 oxycodone pills, 142 grams of cocaine and a cutting agent.
Mohamud Ahmed Abdi is facing several charges, including two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and two counts of Trafficking.

Oxycodone and cocaine seized, bus passenger from Toronto arrested in Manitoba: RCMP

WINNIPEG
A 29-year-old Toronto man was arrested and charged after he was allegedly found with a significant quantity of drugs on a bus travelling to Thompson, Man.
According to RCMP, officers from the Thompson detachment, along with a tactical team and the Manitoba North District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team, intercepted a bus that was travelling from Winnipeg to Thompson while it stopped for gas in Grand Rapids, Man.
Police arrested a man who was found to have over 200 oxycodone pills, 142 grams of cocaine, and a cutting agent in his possession.
Mohamud Ahmed Abdi has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of drug trafficking, and three counts of obstruction and failure to comply. ....

A 29-year-old man from Toronto was arrested Jan. 20 on a bus bound for Thompson while in possession of more than 200 oxycodone pills and 142 grams of cocaine.
As part of an ongoing drug investigation, Thompson RCMP, a tactical team and the Manitoba North District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team intercepted a northbound bus while it was stopped at a gas station in Grand Rapids just before 3 a.m. to make the arrest.
