(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Northern Governors Forum says that it will intervene in the rift between two of its governors, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, and his Benue State counterpart, Samuel Ortom.
It would be  recalled that the two governors have engaged in a rift over the issue of  open grazing and Fulani herdsmen carrying AK-47 for protection.
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, confirmed this development while speaking with newsmen, at the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, in Abuja, on Thursday.
Responding to a question, he said, “I just left Kaduna, we had a meeting of the Northern State Governors, Bauchi State Governor, Benue Governor was there, it will be sorted out, it could be differences in option. It is not fundamental. ....
