Woman gang-raped in her house in Laxmipur

A housewife was gang-raped allegedly by four people in her house in Ramgati upazila s Laximpur early today.
Police arrested a youth, Miraz Hossain, 26, one of the alleged four rapists, after the victim filed a rape case against him and three unknown persons with Ramgati Police Station this afternoon, said police.
Police are trying to arrest the rest, said Mohammad Solaiman, officer-in-charge of the station.
Quoting the case statement, the OC told our Noakhali correspondent that Miraz and three others stormed into the victim s house around 2:30am. They broke the door and confined other members of the victim s family to another room, tying their hands and feet.
