Journalist Among 11 Wounded in Uruzgan Blast
A least 11 people, including a journalist and two security force members, were wounded in an explosion in the city of Tarinkot in the southern province of Uruzgan on Tuesday afternoon, sources said.
The explosion happened near Ghazni Amanullah Roundabout in Tarinkot and the bomb was placed on a motorbike, local officials said, but they did not confirm the number of wounded.
Shah Mohammad Hamdard, a reporter from local radio station Salam Rozgan Radio, was wounded in the explosion, his colleagues confirmed.
Sources said that nine of those wounded are civilians, including two children, a woman and the journalist.
