Jakarta. Two cabinet members encouraged those with the privilege of having education in the United States to share their expertise for the national interests and help the government create more jobs.
“We need you to implement what you have learned in America for national interests. Our economy is ranked 16th in the world and we are accelerating efforts to become a developed nation,” Research and Technology Minister Bambang Soemantri Brodjonegoro said in a gathering of US school alumni in Cikarang, West Java, on Thursday. ....

Perth. After a year of bushfires, floods, and drought, the Australian agricultural industry is on the road to recovery. One of the countries that will play a major role in helping heal this industry is Australia’s biggest neighbor, Indonesia.
Several factors may add the pace to future growth of bilateral trade, such as Australian and Indonesian government initiatives, recent economic agreements, and a long-term cultural and trade relationship.
