SOUTH HURON – The municipality held a public meeting April 12 to discuss a zoning bylaw amendment for a planned subdivision in Exeter on lands west of Elliott Park.
Formerly known as Exeter Heights, the parcel of land now called Buckingham Estates has changed ownership a couple of times in recent years. Concord-based company CVD bought the property a few years ago from the Hensall District Co-op with plans for an 80-home subdivision. That development didn’t move forward, but the property has once again changed hands, and is now being developed by Incon of London, which has plans to increase the number of homes in the subdivision to 112 single detached dwellings.
