Alexandria Area High School Nominates Students for ExCEL Award


(Alexandria, MN) Alexandria Area High School has nominated Sydney Gray and Zacharie Wosepka for the Minnesota State High School League s ExCEL (Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership) Award.
ExCEL is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school juniors. Students who are active in school activities, who show leadership qualities and who work voluntarily in their community are eligible. The ExCEL Award recipients will be selected by an independent panel of judges from schools throughout Minnesota. Each recipient will be recognized on KSTC-TV (Channel 45) during the broadcasts of the 2017 winter tournaments.
Sydney is the daughter of Clinton and Jodi Gray. She is involved in gymnastics and track in the athletic arena. Sydney’s fine arts involvement includes orchestra. Sydney is an “A” honor roll member and a Spotlight on Scholarship athlete. She is active as a student leader at school where she served on the homecomin ....
